In short
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising.
- Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google.
- We only receive personal data if you send us the contact form.
1. Visiting the site
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you load a page, Vercel processes your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the page and protect the service against abuse. These logs are kept for a short period by Vercel and are not used by us to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2. The map
The map in the Spots section loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org). To deliver them, your browser sends your IP address to that service. No cookies are set and we receive nothing. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing an interactive map (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. The contact form
If you send the form, we receive what you enter: name, email, and optionally phone, business, website, the services you ticked and your message. It is stored in our AllyOS inbox and emailed to our team, so we can answer you and prepare an offer. The AllyOS backend runs on Railway Corp. (USA). We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any resulting contract, and delete them after [retention, e.g. 24 months] if nothing comes of it. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To stop spam, the form is rate-limited per IP address and contains a hidden field that only bots fill in.
4. Transfers outside the EU
Vercel and Railway are based in the USA. Where personal data leaves the EU or South Africa, the transfer relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as offered by those providers.
5. Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to hello@allyos.app.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live in the EU, or the Information Regulator in South Africa (POPIA).
6. Changes
If this site starts using cookies, analytics or new services, we update this page first.
